PDX

It's early Friday morning and we just arrived in Portland, OR. We meaning Haloti and I. This trip was talked about months ago but for some reason, when the day finally arrived, I wasn't so sure about going. I had various reasons why it wasn't a good idea to take off. But about an hour and half before the flight left, decided I was going to go.

On the plane, Haloti and I didn't sit together. I sat in the middle of two ladies. One from St. Louis visiting her aunt in Portland and the other originally from Portland, but now living in Salt Lake. She was just returning to Portland to visit her dad. I normally keep to myself on the plane, but on this flight, found myself talking to this lady the entire flight.

We arrived around 10 pm and like any getaway, the whole 'eating right' goes out the door. As soon as we picked up our rental car, we stopped by Wendy's to pick up somthing to eat. So at 11 pm, I am eating a grilled chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. Not a good idea, but I'm not going to stress over it. I figure when I get back, I will work harder at the gym to burn off the extra calories. LOL.
