This week is definitely one of those weeks where the gym is on the back burner! Monday I didn't make it 'cause I was busy trying to save my plants that were pulled out. I did make it to Zumba yesterday and that was a kick-butt workout! As for tonight, will try and make it to the 8 pm Zumba class, but that is not for sure. I really hope to make it tomorrow because Friday and Saturday is definitely out. Ailini has a softball tournament this weekend and we'll be there with the kids!
Next week at work I begin this new project which will take a lot of time. So I hope to be able to catch my evening classes. If not, I will have to make an effort to get up early and hit the gym before work. I think it's good to go hardcore for a few weeks straight and then to throw things off, take a break. Kinda like what I'm doing now.
I think the same goes for eating. As much as I try and be 'good' about what I eat, there are times when I order a fattening burger, fries and a shake and not even feel bad. I think throwing your body off makes it work harder and has to re-adjust. If you eat the same thing and do the same workout -- your body grows use to it and therefore -- no results. Anyways, that's just my theory! LOL.
So until next week -- just gonna chill the rest of this week with the workouts! As for the eating part -- will watch it since I won't be burning very many calories by missing my workouts! LOL.

Oh gosh I better throw off my workout cause I think my body is getting use to the same old thing. I'm going to attempt the morning and evening workout we'll see, I still have a problem with eating but I'll get down soon. Thanks again for helping a sistah out love yah much.
I like that theory Sinai..it totally makes sense! I don't think I've changed much in my eating (which isn't good anyway), but my body will go into MAJOR SHOCK when I come back to Zumba! LOL! This was good for me to read, 'cauwe I should keep on exercising like walking or somethin'...no excuses being prego!! Thanks for that wake up call!
And for you...no worries about missin' a day here or there, sounds like your still replacing it with a workout of getting the kids around and that yard workin' you got going! Now if you were missin' it to sit on the couch & lounge with a HUGE bowl of icecream like I'm doing now...I'd be worried!! Hee hee! =)
hmm..cool idea there, Sinai..never thought about shocking your body into a new workout..that's pretty cool:) will definitely try that one:)
