Friday Favorite -- Rainier Cherries

I love cherries and the past month or so, when I find a good deal, I stock up (guess it's not stocking 'cause it's usually gone within a day or two). Last week while we were in Portland, OR -- they had them on sale for $.98/lb. We must've bought 3 bags and they were gone by the time we returned home.

A few weeks ago while shopping at Sam's club, I was introduced to Rainier cherries. They are a two-tone color (yellow & red) but I think they are a lot sweeter than your typical cherries. I haven't found them on sale like the regular ones, but would pay full price for 'em 'cause they are that good!
