School Shoes

Those that know me, know I'm a big time bargain shopper. Don't get me wrong, I like nice things, but will not pay full price for it (unless I absolutely need it). With school starting next week, the kids needed school shoes -- so off to Famous Footwear we went. They currently have a special, buy 1 get the next pair 1/2 off. I didn't really set a price limit -- just let the kids pick what they wanted. Let's just say I occassionally splurge -- and this was one of those times. Not so sure that was a good idea 'cause $232 later, we came home with one pair for each of them and then a pair for me. LOL. With this deal, if you bought one pair only, you have 30 days to come in and get a second pair for 1/2 off. I just found that out from my boss.

You should see the shoes I ended up getting. Totally something different -- those that know me would definitely agree. I think they are cute -- don't know when I would wear them...but hey, for $15 not a bad deal!!! And even though they are high, they are actually pretty comfortable.
