After ever holiday, I look forward to hitting up Target when they mark down their items to 75% off. Well today was the day they did for their Christmas stuff. (BTW - Thanks Prim for the tip!!!) I love stocking up on their Christmas stuff -- from decorations, cards, wrapping items...and anything Christmas. To be honest, I didn't spend as much this year as I have in years past. I've been trying to be 'good' and not get out of control with spending.
I didn't buy any Christmas decorations this year. I did buy wrapping paper, Christmas cards, hooks, ribbon, a few gift bags and a rug. I wanted to stock up on gift boxes, but I didn't find any. I'll just have to wait for Walmart's clearance and see if I can find some. If not, I'll try a different Target.
Also, I bought a couple bags like this:

My little sister Silia got me hooked. They are reusable bags. At Target, each time you bring your bags in to use, they credit you $.05 for each bag. Not a lot, but hey, it's a win/win situation right? You are helping the environment, plus getting a little money for doing so.
I'm going to hit up Harmon's a local grocer for theirs. They're bags come in different sizes and perfect for me to use for lugging my lunch to and from work...and whatever junk I have to take to and from.
Now I just need to do better with our recycling at home. I get too lazy to rinse and sort out the bottles, paper, etc.and just chuck it in the normal trash. But since we're going to try using the reusable bags, I better get with the program.
