I love the chocolates, peanut slabs, mints, meatpies, sausage rolls, pastries, butter, cheese, mussels...and each time I go, my list gets longer and longer. In fact, each trip to and from, we've brought back goodies from NZ compliments of my Aunty Sinai (my namesake).
Last weekend, my sister Kalo texted and asked if I wanted to go to Kiwi bakery, her treat. Well of course I would if she's paying. LOL. We ended up going -- we as in, Haloti, myself and the 3 kids that were currently at home. Kalo came over with the other 2 kids and my brother Lopeti tagged along too.
It's really not a good idea to go starving to a place where you know you can go crazy eating wise. We must've ordered a variety of meatpies, then doughnuts and of course fish and chips. The food was delicious and definitely worth another trip out there. Just not any time soon because I definitely have to work it off! Oh well, worth it!!!! Check it out if you are ever out that far!
Here's a few pics I took on my camera phone. Sorry none of the meatpies.
