Sugar

My workout regime has been steady, however the eating part has been a little out of control. I still eat in moderation, but rather than eating 'healthy', I've been eating lots of starches (rice, pasta, etc.) and other not-so healthy foods. I've put on a few pounds, but would like to slim down a little bit more and really tone up.

This past Monday after my Turbo Kick class, I had an interesting conversation with the instructor...what about? About sugar. Let's just say, I'm one of those kinds of people who will ask if I like something. Not for it, but will ask where you got it....or how did you lose weight, tips on how to...etc. And if asked by someone the same, I would share the info. Anyhow, back to my story...LOL. I asked my instructor how she got so cut and defined in her upper body. I guess 'cause my arms are big -- and I want to tone them. She said her workout was the same. The only thing she changed was cutting out sugar.

I said, "oh, okay". Then from there we were talking about sugar and how the body handles it. Well, earlier that day, I received an email from a friend with two articles about sugar. (I just barely opened the email today.) Check out the articles HERE and HERE. It's a good read and definitely good information about sugar. The articles included a lot about what we talked about.

This will be a challenge, but will give it a try.
