Apologies...

It's been over a month since my last blog.

So much has happened...and so much to blog about...here's a quick run down...

The second week of August, I was able to participate in the Pioneer Trek. I along with my oldest went on the Trek. This would be my third opportunity to go. I went the first time our Stake went - that was about 6 years ago. The second opportunity I chose not to go. This time around I was excited to go. I think excited because I felt like I was physically prepared. Well, the 15 miles trek in one day kicked my butt. Literally. I mean, by the end of the night, I felt like crawling everywhere. I did feel a lot better the following morning. It was a good experience and I was glad that I chose to go. It make me appreciate the luxuries of this time. I don't know if I would've been able to make it as a pioneer. I am indeed grateful for those pioneers for the sacrifices they made.

Also last month I started teaching an early morning Zumba class. A friend of mine was able to get the gym in the mornings. I jumped at the opportunity because it's consistent and will definitely give me lots of practice. Since then, I added another early morning day. Now those that know me, know that I am not a morning person. This is a struggle, but I've been able to do it. Next step is to get on somewhere that pays to teach. I will keep everyone posted. For now, if you are interested, I teach Zumba at 5:30 am on Wednesday & Thursday mornings at the Harold B. Lee Hall located at 536 S 900 W in Salt Lake.

The twins have started little league football. That is so fun to watch. They are so fun to watch! One is serious about the sport and the other can care less - or so it seems. It's actually cool to not have boys playing on the line. Football is my favorite sport to watch. Don't know why, but it is. I will have to post some pictures of them.

Last but not least, we had Soni's Eagle Court of Honor last Sunday. I am so proud of this huge accomplishment. We could not have done it without the amazing scout leaders he has. The program was simple. Food was simple. I do admit, I was a little laxed in sending out invites. I'm sure more family would've been there. Either way, it's done and over with and it turned out nice. I have pictures from that as well that I need to post.

Life is still a little chaotic -- trying to juggle work, the kids schedule, workouts and everything else. But still managing!

Thanks to those that still check in on my blog! Much love!
