We are the champions!

The twins decided early in the summer that they wanted to play football. I thought they were just kidding around, but they weren't. We registered them in July and practices began in August. They were placed on the Gremlins B team. Coached by Coach Saili, Coach Eddie and Coach Steve.

The season officially ended last Saturday with the championship game against East. Talk about nerve racking game. They ended up winning the game & the CHAMPIONSHIP! Congrats boys!!! Well deserved.



Earlier this week their team entered the Borderwarz tournament held at Cottonwood High School and the Rio Tinto stadium. They lost their game they played against Judge. But they did win last night against the All-Poly team. What a experience for these two and their first year playing. A championship and then the opportunity to play at Cottonwood HS and the Rio Tinto stadium! Memories to last a lifetime.

Bittersweet for myself. Happy that the season is over - no more driving back and forth to practices and around town for games. But at the same time, sad because I love football and love Little League!!! Excited for next year though!!! They have learned so much playing and can see them learning more and excelling in football!
