Weekend / Guest Blogger

I promise after this post, I will write about something other than Zumba. I just wanted to sum up the past week. Monday was my first ever Zumba audition. Turned out a success because I landed my first ever paying Zumba gig (I teach Friday mornings at 6 am at The Park Center in Murray.). I taught Zumba for the first time for a palangi ward. Believe it or not, I was nervous for that. Then for the first time, I subbed for the first time. Subbing for Teresa Auva'a made me REALLY nervous. She is an amazing instructor and has quite the following. They don't mess around. They love their Zumba and absolutely love their instructor.

I usually post or announce where I'm teaching or the Zumba class I am attending and with this, I didn't. Yes, I am weird like that. As much as I would love the support, I am nervous about telling others especially when it's an event they would have to pay for. I basically just told my sister and she agreed to come out. Apparently a few friends from our West Valley crew found out and bless their souls, they came out to show their support. I am seriously surrounded by some of the most amazing people. Thank you again for the love and support! I am truly grateful for wonderful people like you!

Class turned out great. The ladies of THE BZC made me feel comfortable and we just had a partay!!! And of course a great workout. My sister took a few pictures on her camera phone. (Thank you Silia!) Enjoy the few pics posted below!

I was asked by a friend/relative to be a guest blogger on his page. Check out SOUL STABLE when you get a minute. I along with my cousin Phil and Mr. Soul Stable's wife are featured bloggers. Thank you Mr. Uilisoni Angilau for allowing me to share random thoughts, feelings and insight on weight, fitness and being polynesian. Much ofa's!!!!

You did an amazing job at our ward Sinai. Everyone loved it. They said you were easy to follow and loved your happy face. It was a huge success! I am so happy for you that you are getting to share your love of Zumba with so many. Way to go!
