Just looked at the last post and realize it's been two weeks. Seems like forever. I'm trying to think all that has happened since my last post and to be quite honest, I can't remember. It must be the old age catching up with me.
I'm still teaching Zumba. Still working some crazy hours here and there. Still keeping busy with family. Next week will be an interesting week. My boss is going to be out a few days and hopefully all goes well with work, especially Wednesday. I have my usual two Zumba classes I teach - along with that, I have an evening class I am subbing for which will make 3 classes on Wednesday. I hope I can hang.
Tomorrow is Nohea's 14th birthday. He is on track with receiving his Eagle. We went in this past Monday to get his project signed off by the administrator who is in charge of the school he will be performing his project for. Nohe'a is doing a towel drive for a public school that caters to children with disabilities. What do they need towels for? This special needs school has a pool where the kids do therapy. We were able to see the pool area along with the towels. It was pretty bad. After speaking with the principal, she gave us the okay to come back when the kids are doing therapy. I am excited and Nohe'a is also. I think it will be good for him to see who will benefit from this project. There's still some more paperwork to be done - my guess is that he'll be doing the drive some time next month. Nohe'a has been focusing on scouts and not really doing any sports right now. He also has been doing good with his studies.
Monday is Haloti's birthday. He will be turning 44 this year. I tease him that he is getting old. Not sure if I mentioned it before, but there is a 7 year age difference and every chance I get, I remind him. Hahahaha. He's been into his workouts and eating right. He has dropped some weight too. I'm not sure exactly how much, but enough where others have noticed. I'm not sure what we'll do for his birthday - I'm thinking either lunch or dinner. Of course it always involves food.
Happy birthday Nohe'a & Haloti -- love you both!
