Feeling pretty good.

The morning began with EMZ. Pushed myself harder than the usual. After my workout, I had a slice of the pumpking chocolate chip bread I made the night before. I know, not good, but where I made it and everything is from scratch, I figure, not bad. I had to stop by the store, so I picked up some grapes, pears, salsa & tortilla chips. I was set for lunch.

Worked my usual 8 hours (or close). Lunch was the above plus 2 chicken egg rolls with sweet & sour sauce. Rushed home to take the twins to return their football equipment. Now that football season is over, my evenings are free again. I told the kids we were all going to the rec center. I get so irritated with them on the computer, watching tv or playing video games. Some use the excuse of staying home because they have homework. I make them take it with them and do it at the rec if they have to. I'm all for them being active. I have one particular son who really needs to get up and move, but I try and tell him in a nice way. Degrading doesn't help. I've learned that watching my sister as we were growing up. It didn't motivate her, but pushed her to eat more. Hopefully through watching what we eat and working out, he'll find that motivation.

I ended up catching a Zumba class and then doing an ab workout. Came home and cooked dinner for the kids. I ended up having a protein shake. My first ever. And it was not bad. I then ate some cooked carrots & then a banana. Still trying to avoid eating late, but I figure if I have to, might as well make it nutritious.

It feels like old times and I'm excited for each workout.
