Merry Christmas....

Our Christmas began around 10:30 p.m. Christmas Eve. Haloti had to work on Christmas morning, so we decided to open the gifts so he can get some rest before work. Since my dad left to Tonga earlier this month, Ailini has been staying at grandma's. So it was just the boys and us. We began by having Soni read the Christmas story and then we opened gifts. Here's a few pics of our holiday decor plus a few from last night.

Like I mentioned, we opened out gifts on Christmas Eve. This morning Haloti went to work while we got our food ready to take over to my mom's. When Haloti came home from work, we headed over there. It was a simple get together. We had exchanged names and before eating, we opened out gifts. I'll have to wait for Silia to post her pics and then I'll add some of hers to my blog. We ate and hung out for a little bit. Then around 4 pm or so, we got our stuff together and then headed home. We came home then made it to the dance around 8 pm. When we left the house, the snow was coming down hard.

After the dance, we came home and then drove back to the church to check on my mom and Ailini. We got there as they were pulling out of the church parking lot. We followed them all the way home to make sure they arrive safely. After doing so, we drove straight home. I took these pics with Haloti's camera phone - sorry the pictures are not that great and the lighting is horrible, but what do you expect with a 2.0 megapixel taking a picture in the middle of the night (around midnight)? But as you can see, we received A LOT of snow. Probably close to a foot...if not more. Did I mention, I hate this weather?

Taken from inside our garage - looking out to the neighborhood....so much snow!

Those are great photos! I know this has been crazy weather, but truthfully, I love it. It should mean that our summers shouldn't be as bad. That is still a great picture of the snow.
