40 Things I want to accomplish before I turn 40

Over a year ago, I put together a list of 40 things I want to accomplish before I turn 40. Was thinking about that list today and thought I'd share. Here's my original list:

1) Lose 80 more pounds...okay more like 50 *working on*
2) Walk/run...or just finish a marathon
3) Learn how to play the piano
4) Read B of M all the way through
5) Visit Europe
6) Payoff all credit cards
7) Learn how to decorate cakes
8) Take a class in interior decorating
9) Take all my kids to Tonga
10) Sell our current home/Build another home/Payoff home
11) Be a Zumba instructor (crazy, but I love it that much!)
12) Re-do my room, daughter's room & boy's room (pretty much the entire house) *working on*
13) Go back to school
14) Get a degree
15) De-junk entire home--get rid of unneccessary items
16) Have all of kids pictures scrapbooked
17) Learn how to swim
18) Enroll Ailini, Brydan & Gideon in swim lessons & make sure they know how to swim
19) Travel to all 50 states (Live in UT, been to HI, CA, AZ, NV, TX, WY, NM, CO, MA, GA--39 more to go)
20) Work from home
21) Have oldest son's mission paid off *working on*
22) Have my own savings account
23) Get a real estate license
24) Pay cash for a new car
25) At the rate we are going, finish our basement
26) Learn how to arrange flowers
27) Start my own business
28) Get my welfare/storage organized
29) Write a book....(this is my filler item)
30) Once I learn how to swim, lose weight, I want to learn how to scuba dive
31) Meet Oprah Winfrey
32) Go see a Broadway play
33) Speak fluent Tongan *practicing each day*
34) Get a professional family picture taken with all the kids
35) Learn how to play Chess--so I can play against my kids
36) Make a quilt for each of my kids
37) Learn how to sing (sing in a choir)
38) Learn how to ski (snow...and then when I learn how to swim, water ski)
39) Learn CPR
40) Do something in remembrance of my little brother Daniel--next year (2009)marks 10 years since his death--donate to Primary Children's or the American Cancer Institute in his name...not sure what I want to do, but do something....

I think for the most part everything still remains the same. There is one exception, number 10. Realistically, not sure if we can payoff home within 5 years. It's possible if we built and sold every year. But with the current situation -- most likely will stay in current home for awhile.

You go, Sinai:) It's weird, I was just listening to Anothony Robbin's free download of his ebook last night and was talking about setting your goals and creating your list and when to accomplish it by!! I uploaded it on to my cell phone so I could listen to it every morning when I go walking or whenever. Love your list, you're awesome:)

I am so amazed by your list Sinai!! I was reading through it and was trying to figure what I would put on my list....then I realized that I should maybe limit myself to just 10 things since 40 is right next door......lol

Anyways, you are definitely an inspiration Sinai...know that!!
