I don't know what's wrong with my laptop, but it was frustrating me last night, so I couldn't post. Besides, my mom, sisters (Kalo & Silia) and I took the Turbo Kickboxing class last night, so by the time it was bedtime, I was dead tired. In fact, I woke up this morning just beat. It was an intense workout, but a good one. I'm trying different classes. My all time favorite of course is Zumba, but every now and then a variety is good.
I haven't taken the pilates or yoga class yet, but it's on my list. I did try water aerobics awhile back and it was okay. I think a few reasons why I didn't like it, for one-the indoor pool and the chlorine just gives me a headache. Two-don't like how my hair feels after swimming, it feels more tangled. And lastly-I don't feel like I even worked out. Besides, trying to balance yourself on a noodle and you don't know how to swim is nerve racking.
But yeah, still trying to do the gym thing. Last night was great 'cause Haloti came along with us. I keep telling him that if he does some kind of cardio and watches his diet, he'll be able to ween himself off his medicine cabinet he is taking. Hahahaha. But really, I think he can.
I'm not sure if it was a good thing to get him to come out to the gym 'cause now he is requesting that he gets new running shoes. He told me that he buys me the 'expensive kind' and I bought him the cheap kind. Okay, so maybe I didn't spend $100 bucks on his shoes, but $60-$70 is is not cheap in my book. I swear this guy cracks me up with his comments. Watch, when I do get him his shoes he'll probably stop going to the gym. Men I tell you.
Looking forward to Zumba and hopefully my energy will be restored by then. Still feeling beat.
