Today's Shopping

Thanks to Kuuipo and her blogs about savings I was reminded about the Mega Event Sale at Smith's. So today I made two trips, one in the morning (purchased items that would be okay left in the car) and then one after work.

Here's a few pics I took of my shopping:





Here's what I purchased (keep in mind 2 shopping trips):

16 Dixie 200 ct. napkins ($.49 after promo and $1.00Q)
4 cases (60 bottles) of Powerade (roughly $.11 a bottle after promo and $.75/2 Q)
9 Colgate toothpaste ($.25 after promo and $.75 Q)
11 Quaker Quakes ($.50 each money maker - made $5.50 - after promo and $1 Q)
14 pint size Kroger ice cream ($.49 after promo - no Q)
10 2-liter A&W root beer ($.75 after promo - no Q)
4 point cut corned beef brisket ($1.39/lb)
2 heads of cabbage ($.39/lb)
bag of golden apples ($.99/lb)
1 bunch of grapes ($.99/lb)
2 bunches of bananas ($.59/lb)
2 bunches of asparagus ($1.39/lb)
10 375 ct Q-tips ($1.20 after promo and $.30 Q)

I forgot to buy milk which is on sale for $1.59 a gallon. I will be making another stop at Smith's! Great deals and once again, LOVE SAVING MONEY!
