Lydia...this one is for you!

As mentioned in my earlier post, I made a Costco run. Went there to pick up a strawberry cheesecake for a meeting tonight, but while there, I picked up 2 bags of pears, broccolli slaw kit, salad, and their fresh french cut beans. I always try and stock up on fresh fruits and veggies.

Fresh fruits and veggies are very important in one's diet. "Fresh" is also pricey -- but canned and frozen will work as well. To lose weight, I definitely increased my fruits and veggies intake. It fills you up and at the same time -- doesn't stay in your system that long. Try it out for a week and you'll see what I mean.

Monday through Friday I don't eat a "big meal" after 2 pm. Mainly because I work out late. But I do snack on fruits and veggies if I am hungry after my workout. If you are going to overindulge -- fruits or veggies is the way to go.

I love fried foods -- who doesn't? And as much as they say to stay away from "fried foods", I don't when it comes to veggies. I love fried mushrooms & zucchini's dipped in ranch. Because it's a vegetable -- yup you got it, doesn't stay in the system too long.

I'll post some more later about this....gotta run for now

thanks Sinai!yeah..its so hard for me to add veggies to my diet. I'll buy it and then it ends up getting spoiled in the fridge cause I don't feel like making it or I just push it to the side and look for something else in the fridge to eat.And salad can only go for 2 days..by my 3rd day I wanna barf at the sight of salad..lol. So I will try...uggh..wish it was easy to lose as it is to gain!ha..ha
