Checking in at the SLC airport. Heading to LAX and then hopefully from there to Apia, Samoa and then Tongatapu, Tonga.
Someone not to happy with me. I thought he was at the gate and walked to the gate but didn't realize he was waiting outside the shop I was browsing.
It's about 5:30 pm here in Los Angeles, CA. We arrived here about an hour and half ago. Flying standy-by international is always an adventure. We are actually waiting in the ticketing area...and will be until 9 pm when we'll know if we get a seat or not on the 10:15 pm flight from Los Angeles to Apia, Samoa. The flight is pretty open from Samoa to Tonga, so if we get on here, then we are set.
The flight back looks open, but everyone thats traveled stand-by knows that doesn't mean anything. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping all will be well and that we make it back home next Tuesday.
If you don't see any posts for awhile -- then that means I made it to Tonga.
