Earlier this year Haloti and I went to Tonga for a week. Okay, more like 5 days and 2 days just traveling. Later in the summer, my little sis Silia, her family and my mom went. They came back and mentioned that my dad's oldest sister, Melenaite is not doing too well. My dad only has two sisters, Melenaite and then the youngest (whom I'm named after) Sinai. All of my dads siblings live overseas, so growing up, we rarely saw them. We would see them here and there when they would come out for a visit, but nothing like my mom's side where we see each other a lot.
Anyhow, when my little sister came back from Tonga and told me about my aunt Naite, I wanted to go out there and visit. Haloti thought it would be a good idea to go in November (before our crazy holiday rush). So now it's November and believe it or not, IF we go, it would be tomorrow. And yes, another week visit (5 days there & two traveling).
This trip has been on and off for the past month. So on and off that my little sis told me she'll believe it when we are actually on the plane and on our way. I am still undecisive about the trip...a lot because the date is here and I am in no way prepared. By that I mean, not prepared to go 'cause I don't have 'summer clothes' to wear...and I know with the weather and all, it will be hot and humid. Then along with that, I wanted to take something for the family -- but have no kind of money to do that--well, out of my pocket, but I'm sure Haloti has some. LOL. Then there's my kids -- piano recital tomorrow night, VIP poster due on November 9th for my daughter and a YW program on the 11th. And of course, there's work too. So much to do.
Decisions, decisions....

Go...there's nothing like regretting when a loved one has passed on and you had the chance to see them. Regret from missing work may occur...but you'll get over that fast. Don't worry about clothes. You're as skinny as your daughter so just grab something from her closet...LOL! Have fun Sinai!
