March 6th

A few weeks ago or so--okay, maybe a month ago, while hanging out with my two sisters,we had a discussion of things we wanna do this year. I'll let them talk about their big thing they're going to do, but mine...well, it's to certify. Yup, certify so I can teach Zumba. The January class is booked -- SOLD OUT. But there is a class out here on March 6th.

I'm going to do it. I tried talking my sister into certifying with me, but whether she does or not, I'M GOING TO DO IT! I've always talked about it, now I'm going to be about it. LOL. I know it's going to be a challenge. The past two times I tried to lead a class turned out okay, but I know I could do so much better. I am excited, but really nervous at the same time.

This experience reminds me of a movie I watched last week on our flight to Hawaii. Movie is called "Love Happens" starring Jennifer Anniston. It's about a self help guy who tries to help others deal with grief and losing a loved one, yet he himself is not completely healed or over losing his wife. During the movie there is a clip where he talks about 'FEAR'. Fear is something we all face, but how we deal with is the hard part. Fear definitely holds us back -- so for the year 2010, it's going to be my year to try new things. And if I fall on my face, it's okay, at least I know I tried. Live life with no regrets. You will never know unless you try.

Zumba instructor -- here I come. Oh and on the list for this year -- skydiving! Scared of heights, but definitely willing to try!!!! I know, so crazy huh?
