Happy Birthday Madre!

This post is a little late considering there is just a half hour left in the day. But regardless, this post is dedicated to mi madre! Happy 57th birthday!!! Here's wishing you many more to come.

The picture above I stole off my sisters page. This was taken at our house at a 'surprise bbq birthday party' for her. I told her come over after 4 pm, not before, but after. This lady is early to everything. Definitely something I did not get from her.

She's got a lot of amazing qualities. When asked to do something, she gives her her ALL. She always stays on task and likes to complete her assignments/or whatever she's working on ahead of time. She's a great cook & seamstress. I think we all picked up the cooking skills from her, but as for sewing...that didn't happen. She is active. By that I mean, not just with exercise. She doesn't like wasted time. She's always reminded us that we should always be doing something. She is a 'tell it how it is' type person. LOL. She definitely loves her grandkids and will do anything for them.

I love this lady, even when we don't see eye to eye on things!!!
