Cars...cars...cars...

Every now and then I go through a phase where I "want" a new car. Really I don't need one (yet) because the one I drive works and gets me to and from. But you know how it goes, all your friends/family are driving nicer cars...and sometimes you just wish you could too. So what keeps me from buying one? Car payment.

Not too long ago, my sister blogged about my car. Yes, my car (or truck) is GHETTO. But like I said, it works!

Let me tell you a little bit about my cars...all my cars were brand new, except for my current car - the one I am driving. Bought it used and to be quite honest...could not believe that I was downgrading. Yes, new, new, new and then used? It's okay, I'm over it.

My very first car - 1992 Daihatsu Charade. Like the one above, but black.

1993 Nissan Sentra. It was actually Haloti's car, but I got to drive it. Manual drive. Again, brand new. White. My second favorite.

SIL took the Sentra so we could get this car. A black 1996 Isuzu Rodeo. Manual drive. I think we chose manual because not everyone can drive stick shift. LOL.

1999 Dodge Durango. This exact color. Probably my favorite.

My car looks just like the one pictured here. All that is missing is the step bar. 1999 green suburban.

Trying to fix my mirror.

The fix? A hair elastic.

Wah lah!

Cracked, but the elastic is holding it.

One day I will buy a new car/truck - never a van. Sorry, no offense, but just don't like mini-vans. And hopefully I can pay cash for it! But we'll see.

LOL @ "new, new, new & then USED?"...anything (well almost) is better than paying an arm and a leg for new car....
