Brookhaven RS Zumba Activity

I was asked by a friend who I met through Zumba to teach a class for their Relief Society. I taught the class Tuesday evening which meant I missed my regular Zumba class with Julie Ray. Like I mentioned in an earlier post, this was for a palangi ward. No biggie right? Well, for me it was. I never really taught a palangi ward. In fact, the classes I've taught were mostly polynesians. I wasn't too sure on what kind of reaction I would get. And as with all 'new' classes I teach, I get so nervous.

It was a great turnout and I think a lot of the ones that wondered what Zumba is all about were able to experience a taste of it. All in all, it was a lot of fun.

Thank you Tonya for the invite. Thank you Zumba sistahs for being there as well to work it out, show your love and support. And many, many thanks for my sisters Lani, Kalo and Silia for coming along. It really does help!

Here's a few pictures that my sister took from that evening on her camera phone:

On another note, my early morning Zumba class has been filling up. Not sure if they really like my class...if they are just being nice...if it's because they are free...maybe because it's New Year's...who knows...but they are there and I truly appreciate there coming out each morning.

Zumba enthusiasts, check out my fellow Zumba instructors' site HERE. He is holding a master class on February 5th. He also has listed a free class that a few other Zumba instructors (who are also friends of mine) are holding this Saturday. Check it out if you are interested. Zumba Loves!
