My little sisters' girls (the triplets) will be turning 5 on January 5th. Today they celebrated their birthday over at their home. The kids had a lot of fun as well as the adults. The food was delicious and especially the birthday cake. I ended up having 2 pieces...and of course with ice cream.
These 3 are special-not just for their family but for mine. As you probably know, Haloti and I have 4 boys and only 1 girl. A little late now to change our minds about trying for another one. It's done...Ailini will be the only girl unless we adopt another one. So these three cuties serve as my daughters 'little sisters'. And let me tell you, Ailini really does play the role of 'older sister' to these three. Poor girls probably get sick of her, but it's so cute how they try and follow her.
Here's a few pics of the setup and of their cakes. Silia, Kalo, Lupeni and the triplets made and decorated the cakes! Truly little princesses!
Oh yeah...and how about those UTES? That was the best game to watch with my husband - especially the first quarter! Like I mentioned, since getting married, I've been quiet about the whole UTES thing until this game. I'm so glad they beat Alabama. I was surfing the net yesterday and several polls showed 85% on up favoring Alabama. Well, after the game, I guess that shut 'em up. Never underestimate anyone! Good job UTES! Job well done!

Happy birthday to all of them. They are such cuties. Bravo on their cakes, they are so beautiful and the decorations are great. And hats off to the Utes, way to take it all the way. I, like you, went to the U and though I love with all my heart the Y, I still root for red. Cause you always have to cheer for the school that represents your state. Way to go Utah!
