Last day, last blog for 2010...
What could I write about...
What kind of recap can I do about 2010...
It was a rollar coaster year for me. Lots of things going on in my personal life. Some good. Some bad. But like they say, it is what it is. Despite the good, the bad, the ugly, I am grateful for every experience. I strongly believe with every experience, there is always a lesson to learn. Life is what you make of it.
With all of that being said, what are some of my highlights from this year?
January -- a trip with the twins and Haloti to Hawaii. Met up with my sis (1st cousin) Maryanne. Spent a few days enjoying the warm Hawaii sun and relaxing.
February -- Haloti, dad and Soni went to Tonga for Uncle Epeli's funeral. While there, they experienced a cyclone. They did make it home safely.
March & April -- can't really remember other than Soni worked on his Eagle project at the St. Vincent Catholic shelter.
May -- finally certified to teach Zumba!!! Yay, OFFICIALLY a Zumba instructor!
June -- Haloti, Soni, Nohe'a and I visited Tonga via LAX & Apia, Samoa. Took a different route back, flying to New Zealand, then on to Australia, LAX and then back home. I flew by myself back since there was only one seat available. Haloti and the two boys were stuck out in Australia for a week. Quite the experience to say the least.
July & August -- my birthday, summer, Little League football...
September -- Soni's Eagle Court of Honor. What an accomplishment!
October & November -- more Little League football. The twins winning the championship. Fun times.
December -- My sister Lani and her kids moved back due to unfortunate circumstances.
That's a brief rundown of my year. And of course through out, lots and lots of Zumba. Started teaching free classes. Participated in a charity event and introduced physical fitness to a lot of polynesian women who now love and enjoy it!
Let me end this post by sharing a video clip a co-worker shared with me today. It is completely off and has nothing to do with this post. It just made me laugh. Hope it makes you laugh too.
An Australian tv show. Not sure if he could get away with this here in the U.S. and not be physically injured by someone. Hahahaha!
Have a safe New Year's tonight!!!! Much ofa's!
